SDM Intelligence · First-Party Evidence

SDM Field Case Library

Real mitigation work organized as evidence: what was observed, how the condition was investigated, what the images actually establish, and where uncertainty remains.

This is not a project-showcase gallery. The library exists to make technical explanations more transparent. Client-identifying information is omitted, and photographs are not used to claim more than they visibly demonstrate.

Field Case 001

Commercial water loss

Moisture investigation, thermal screening, psychrometric monitoring, selective demolition, exposed commercial wall assemblies and drying-system documentation.

23 published evidence records

Each published image is assigned an evidence ID, descriptive caption and technical context so it can be reused across SDM Intelligence without changing what the image proves.

Evidence language matters

A cool thermal pattern is described as a thermal anomaly, not automatically as water. Meter displays are treated as instrument readings, not universal dry/wet thresholds.

Field Case 002

Municipal fire station water loss

Operating public-safety facility: thermal screening, material verification, selective access, exposed wood framing, controlled work areas, drying-system setup and psychrometric monitoring.

8 curated evidence records

Selected from a larger first-party job record to show the evidence chain without turning the case into a repetitive photo gallery.

Trust without overclaiming

The fire-station setting is documented as project context. The case does not imply endorsement by a fire department or public agency.

How cases are structured

Incident

Loss type and relevant context without exposing the client.

Assembly

Wall, floor, insulation, framing, substrate or other building system being evaluated.

Evidence chain

Observed condition → diagnostic method → corroboration → action → exposed condition → monitoring → outcome when documented.

Fire & smoke evidence framework

Ready for future fire cases

Fire/smoke records can now preserve residue behavior, heat effects, migration pathways, HVAC evidence, material response, source-control actions and post-cleaning verification.

See Fire/Smoke Case Framework

No invented evidence

The fire/smoke evidence framework is reserved for documented fire and smoke cases; existing water-loss photos are not reclassified as fire evidence, and undocumented projects are not presented as field cases.

Same evidence rule

Each image or measurement remains limited to what it actually establishes, with uncertainty preserved instead of filled in.
